I sent Josh some cash to buy me a CPU from his local Microcenter. We had done lots of trading in the past, and I considered him a friend, so I figured I could trust him. However, the day he was to go to Microcenter for me, he claimed his wallet was stolen and someone used his debit card to drain his bank account of all available funds. Since then, it's been one excuse after another as to why he hasn't paid me back.

Currently I\'m trying to contact his local police department to see what they can do about it as I have all his detail.

Some items were damaged in shipping, and an active insurance claim is in progress with no information from the seller in many weeks. I sent a motherboard back to him after having some trouble. He offered to help and flash the BIOS, I also sent my CPU with it for him to test. I requested the return of said items but have yet to recieve a response.

I purchased many items from him with a total of approximately $600 including the cost of shipping. Some items were damaged in shipping. He has an active claim with USPS shipping insurance right now. I now have some damaged (but working) goods, no motherboard or CPU, and no information in many weeks. I have tried calling, texting, emailing both his emails, and facebook messaging him. I would really like this resolved and I will gladly remove this negative heat rating when the matter is resolved.

I don't know why that guy gave Josh a negative, it must be a huge scam because this guy (CCinstaller/Josh) was solid with buying from me.

He never asked me to ship first, he never seemed shady or anything like that. He did a split payment for me 40% paypal 60% newegg cash and paid promptly and without any issues.

Prior to purchasing he remained in constant communication with me as I waited for the newegg code which only processes during NE business hours.. he thought there was an error and without me asking him he PM'd with updates to assure me it was purchased.. early Monday morning it arrived as promised and I shipped his gear.

None of the delay was his fault, just the natural process of dealing with newegg on the weekends. (1.5 days on a weekend while shopping on newegg is not a delay BTW, everyone knows that newegg only processes orders on weekends if it's over certain amount, I assume they do that so people do not cancel large orders due to hours of "Processing" which could cause people to cancel)

Once again, I'm not sure he deserved that negative or not... but as far as I am concerned, this guy is legit and was only trying to help someone that he did deals with before and he got burned for it. I would deal with him again and would do so without any fear of being scammed.
