Jeff was very patient in dealing with me. Apparently Partition Magic's Secure Erase (used to zero the HDD) also prevents WinXP from initializing the drive over USB2.0. Anyway, Jeff spent a bunch of time figuring it out instead of just asking for a return. After getting it working, he promptly paid and left heatware refs. He's a great guy to work with.
