  • This links and following links, explain it all... I gave this guy plenty of chances... http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=45&threadid=1622763&enterthread=y

tangea was the Seller on June 25, 2005 AnandTech

Classic story. I purchase something from the guy, and decide before he ships, that I did not want it... I could not figure out whether the mistake was mine or his. He decides to make me pay for "my" mistake because in his words "I have made the same mistake before, and have had to suffer with the consequences, and so should you". I tried to keep our dealings under wraps, but this guy acts immature and posts it up on anandtech. He then whines about me "intimidating him" and about me "trying to take advantage of him" of him even though he owns his own company, makes plenty of money, and apparently likes to buy property. In the end I told him to go ahead and ship the camera, which apparently he has not done even though he went through the trouble of purchasing shipping labels. He "shipped' the camera out on 6-10-05, a week after I paid him. I have yet to receive the camera and I have tried to contact him several times. He has changed his heatware name to tangea, and even acquired a new anandtech ID. He will not refund me my money, and will not send the camera, I guess because he feels like I have tried to bully him, even though all e-mails and posts, and PM's will show that I have been nothing short of nice to him. The same day he "shipped" or rather "purchased shipping" for the camera, he gave me negative heatware for "trying to treat him and other Anandtech'rs like Walmart with an exchange policy". I retaliated with negative heatware, but felt that it was not warranted because to me, heatware should be about the transaction and not the experience. Therefore, I went through all the trouble of getting BOTH of our negative heatwares removed. Alas, I still have not received the camera so here is the first ever negative heatware that I have ever given, after 4 years on anandtech and 80 positives. I have not received the camera, have received only one e-mail from him since "mail here ships slow, even for priority, and is not guaranteed for 2-3 days, etc." I have opened up a case with the troll hunters and will take furthur actions with others avenues.
This guy, IMHO, appears to be very stubborn. I have apologized to him and tried to make amends, but he insists on not closing out the deal. He is the 3rd person that I have dealt with who has decided to be a troll. The first 2 eventually did the right, honest thing. But this guy is intentionally doing wrong because he feels that he can take out his anger at his own childishness, out on me.
