The individual above after 2-3 months killed the card and then wanted help on warranty.
RMA was processed but should of never took place as fault was by user and not covered under warranty.
Response from PatrioteThis Individual sold me a 8800GTX long time ago. 2-3 Month later, I accidentally killed the card. I asked if he could help me with the RMA and he accepted. Real nice from him. So, i sent him the card. Months later, (~8) I never got that card back. In the first few months he\'d tell me that RMA was into process. So I\'d wait. But maybe 4 months after i had sent it to him, when he actually said he had received the card back from RMA, he would never send it to me. Saying every time that he was overworked with no time to ship or so. @ first i was cool. But then time started passing... And I would e-mail him every 2 weeks (Or so) for updates... Sometimes he would reply sometimes he wouldn\'t. When he\'d reply, he\'d tell me each and every times that he would ship it the next day. But he never did. Time passed even more. Lots of promises but no card. He was banned from 2 forums and was extremely hard to contact on top of all that. So, as time was passing with lots of promise and no card, i started thinking that i was getting screwed up. Maybe he had sold the card or something? I sent him a last e-mail asking him to ship me the card in the next few days or i would contact the authorities. This card was still worth 500$ or so... Yeah, offering help on the RMA process was real cool... But all that wait for nothing? After i had sent him that e-mail saying i would contact the authorities, I decided that i should give him Negative feedback on Heatware. He was so mad @ me and i bet he wanted to get rid of me ASAP he shipped me the card and he also left me negative feedback. If you read carefully through this message, you will understand that i didn\'t do anything wrong in this deal. If not from sending him the card... And on top of ALL THAT, i received the card 2-3 days ago and it\'s NOT WORKING. DOING THE SAME EXACT thing it was doing before i sent him... What a deal!March 26, 2008
