  • Sold/shipped an mpci combo for an ASUS board

scgt1 was the Buyer on May 4, 2015 EVGA

Scgt1 stated that he would like the mpci combo for a board I was purchasing, so I contacted him and we came to an agreement and he got it. Over all, this was another great transaction with an awesome EVGA forum members.

  • I traded my NIB 2GB DDR2-8500 Ballistix kit for his used OCZ 4GB DDR2-6400 kit.

    Cross-traded on January 31, 2009 AnandTech

Michael asked that I shipped first as his kit was in use and he didn\'t want to be offline while waiting for RAM, and given that he had a little heat I was OK with that. When he receive my RAM, he seemed concerned that what I sent was a 2GB kit and he was expecting a 4GB kit. However, I was very clear as to what RAM I was offering for trade, sending him a link to the exact kit at Crucial. I do give him credit for his attitude when I resent the links and PMs, as he accepted the fact that he made a mistake and didn\'t try to amend the deal. However, I do take issue with his shipping methods, and I obviously have no clue if this is his standard procedure since this is my first - and likely only - deal with him. He opened the package I sent him, put the RAM he was sending me back in the same packaging, resealed the box and marked it - Return To Sender. I find that unethical, not to mention most likely illegal. However, since I did get what was agreed upon in the trade I do not think it warranted a neutral or negative heat, but certainly wanted it noted so others would be aware.
