    Purchased LG 52x burner from rdtx2002 at redflagdeals.com for my father.

    RadMan was the Seller on March 27, 2004 RedFlagDeals

    Will never deal with again.

    Feb 11 - rdtx2202 offered me a mint GCE-8520b drive for $28. I inform him that I need it shipped fast and paypal the money.

    Feb 12 - Receive email stating that the drive is shipped out.

    Feb 19 - Nothing has arrived. Try but can\'t reach him.

    Feb 20 - Contact his friend Dexion. Tells me rdtx has internet probs and personal stuff. I reiterate that I need the drive FAST.

    Feb 24 - FINALLY hear from rdtx and am told the drive was shipped Feb 23, almost 2 weeks after I was told it was originally shipped.

    Mar 2 - Still nothing received. Request tracking number.

    Mar 3 - No tracking number. I re-request it.

    Mar 4 - Inform rdtx that I am very dissatisfied, that I want the truth, whether the drive had been shipped or not. If not I want a refund, if so I wanted the tracking number NOW!

    Finally get tracking number.

    Mar 4 - Through contacting Canada Post I find out 2 things. 1. Canada Post failed to make the delivery notice about a week ago, not rdtx\'s fault. 2. rdtx did not ensure that the xpresspost info was transcribed correctly, so when the post office did finally give notice it was to rdtx, not my father!!! The Shipper/shippee info was reversed.

    Mar 7 - Have the drive in our hands, and it doesn\'t work, with ANY cdz. Told by rdtx to try a lens cleaner.

    Mar 10 - Father buys brand new drive, works flawlessly. rdtx agrees for me to return to the drive to him and refund money. I tell him to refund first and I send drive. I don\'t hear back from him.

    Mar 17 - Still don\'t hear back from him. Send another message requesting response.

    Mar 28 - Still don\'t hear from him.

    VERY poor communication, lies, when things went wrong did MAKE SURE that things would go correctly. Now ignores me outright.

    I know that he is now ignoring me as I have seen that he has posted SEVERAL times within the times that I could not get a hold of him. Including now.

    Be warned.

    First of all. He has recieved the drive! It was late because of a Mail Error that was not our fault, the post office screwed up the shipping addresses. He was told this and was the fault of the delay. The drive was damaged upon shipment unfortunate that this has happened. I offered a refund under one condition: Return the drive to me and I will issue an instant Paypal Refund. He did not fullful that condition which was why I did not offer a cash refund. I still don\'t have that drive, and he has not shipped it. WHERE IS IT?

    I then was forced to returned his money after constantly threatening me of posting negative feedback and inflammatory comments. However,I\'m still waiting for my \"broken\" drive, if there was something really wrong with it, why haven\'t I gotten it back yet? Why is he keeping it?

    Be warned of this guy, he\'s pretty unreasonable and sneaky.
