I was late shipping this as I lost my computer due to getting some water on the motherboard, so I asked him for his shipping address again and apologized for the wait. Next day he emailed me with the address, but I hadn't checked my email that day. So, the day after that he wrote me an incredibly rude email and left me not one, but TWO negative feedbacks - AFTER ONE FREAKING DAY. This guy is rude and quite impatient. If you have something happen that delays your deal, he'll just get pissy with you.
Response from astrosfanImpatient? Yes, quite frankly I am. I paypl money on August 2, 2003, for a PC game. Not that big of a package to ship out.
Today is August 25, 2003. No refund, and no game. 23 days? you are a troll.
After FINALLY getting a hold of him (on August 18, 2003, 16 days from transaction date, and he had ample opportunity to contact me seeing as how he was online at AT several times during his alleged PC problems) he promised to refund my money.
I think that most traders would expect their promised refund IMMEDIATELY, especially since I never received any goods. This did not happen.
I received an email on Sat 8/23/03 stating that he would send me my paypal money, after someone paypals him. Unbelievable, robbing Peter to pay Paul is not how to go about trading. He said if he did not receive the money that he would transfer from his bank account (OMG, what a concept, probably where MY money has been sittting for a month) to me.
Well, here I sit 8/25/03 at 6pm and still NO refund or money.
Well, it's time for the certified letters to start arriving at his door. This is unbelievable. This guy is a troll and that's that.
My major mistake in all of this was to not ask him to ship first.
So, for anyone who reads this if you are buying something, have the trader ship first. This will save you the trouble that I am having.
I am still going to fight for MY money, whether you find me "rude" or not. Too freaking bad. Welcome to the real world, where real world consequences happen.
I stand by my negative feedback (which was the only way to get this guy to respond to me after numerous PMs and emails, notice the date left?).
If you put something up for sale, be ready to ship it within a couple of days. Period, otherwise don't put it up for sale. And if you can't ship out ASAP let the buyer know. Don't leave him in the dark for a month. This all would have been avoided if I had just asked him to ship first (that might have been a motivator for him to actually ship it, but probably not). Lessons are hard learned.August 22, 2003
