    Bought an Abit/900Mhz/HSF Combo

    Rastaman was the Seller on June 28, 2003 ArsTechnica

    This was by far the worst transaction I have seen besides having someone just taking money and running. The short of it: it took him 5 and a half weeks to get the combo off (He got the M.O. in 4 days). I would never deal with Sameer again and never recommend as a good trader

    first of all the MO took 4 days from the time he mailed it, but it took 2 weeks for it to be mailed. i didn't complain about that. he blamed his roomate for the problem.

    i'll admit, the transaction did take much longer than it should have. however, i did let the seller know each and every step of the way what was going on. i even offered to refund the cash on several occasions. i also sent the buyer additional hardware for no charge to make up for the delay.

    i did whatever i could to help ease this transaction. i threw in an extra video card and i offered a new NIC and a new 56k winmodem. the seller had no issue in taking the video card.

    i really tried to work with the guy on this one. it's unfortunate he didn't display his displeaure at the time.

    what more do you want me to do? i offer to refund the cash, i give extra hardware, and most of all, i kept on top of the delay by contacting the buyer every other day letting them know what was going on.
