Coquito was the Seller on December 19, 2004 AnandTech

I payed for the item back on 10/24. I was told it would ship out the following day. After a bit of time, I was informed of problems & that it would ship out 11/04, that became 11/12, 11/22, then 12/02. I received my package today, with a postmark date of 12/16. It arrived dirty, with some added silver compund on it, but that washed off with some alcohol.

Overall, a seriously tardy shipment, but the seller did manage to stay in contact except for a couple periods where others(I wasn't the only one) began to get worried. I actually purchased the same item elsewhere, while wondering if this purchase would ever arrive. So I have no use for it any longer.

To string someone along for so long is simply unacceptable.

Overall this trade didn't warrant a negative simply because my item was not very valuable & did arrive eventually. If the transaction involved something more valuable, I would not of hesitated to write up a negative evaluation. A very, very poor neutral is what I feel is warranted here.

Hopefully, the seller has learned that he must put the priorities of those who put trust in him, over that of his own(except in extreme cases, which doesn't apply to what happened here).

As with k1114, I appreciate the honesty. I also appreciate the fact that the community and moderators at Anandtech were willing to give me the opportunity to prove to everyone that I was not a troll. Needless to say, I am very sorry that the fallings out that I had with a few people prevented me from completing what I needed to do in a timely fashion. I accept total responsibility for what happened because the problems that came up, though out of my control, were on my side. I'm not shirking responsibility for it, I just want to stress to prospective buyers I may deal with in the future that these trades gone awry occurred under extreme circumstances that are starting to straighten themselves out, and that this is not typical of my trading.
