Review for user Jayws from gigabit

  • Sold a Dell 20.1" Ultra Sharp 2007FP

gigabit was the Buyer on December 10, 2009 Overclockers.com

When the LCD left me it was 100%.Something happened in shipping so i had the monitor RMAed and sent him another 1.Then he says the DVI doesnt work on the new one.I explaied to him that if he would let me tranfer the warranty DELL would take care of him at no cost to him or me.But he wouldnt have no parts of that.He wanted to keep shipping monitors to him at my expense and at $45 a pop.
Then he said that everything was fine and he could live with the monitor only having a VGA connector.Since thats what he was using anyway. Then about 2 months later he leaves me negative heat.He could of let me transfer the warranty and Dell would of shipped him another monitor and he would have been happy..

This is real simple. The first monitor was advertised with no dead pixels, it came with dead pixels. The replacement did not have functioning DVI. Because the seller was dragging his feet on communication at this point, I spoke with my friend and we decided the second monitor was good enough.

If you advertise a product in full working order, as was done here, and it arrives otherwise, it is my belief that the seller bears the cost of correcting the situation, or offers a refund. No refund was offered and btw, this guy later took a screenshot in Windows of the second monitor to show me that it had no dead pixels... WOW
