    I bought a Macbook air from him.

    He misrepresented the item he was selling, and now is refusing to do anything about it. His reply is basically "tough luck".

    I bought the laptop to replace my desktop. I needed to connect it to my Dell 3007WFP. Before buying the laptop, I asked him:

    "Any idea whether the vid card supports dual link DVI? I am looking for something that I would be able to connect to a Dell 3007WFP."

    His response was:

    "Yes. Here is a link to the adapter as well
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB571Z/A"

    What he didn't tell me however is that his MacBook is an older model and does not have a Mini DisplayPort, but instead had Micro-DVI which does not support dual link DVI. I only found that out after trying to plug in the adapter (I ordered it ahead of time so I already had it when I received the laptop).

    That is my experience with him. YMMV. You have been warned.
