On Feb 12th 2007 I sent TheMacDadda $60.00 via GoogleCheckout for some DVD movies. Movies never arrived, I never heard a word from TheMacDadda and had to get a refund from my credit card company. I applied for credit card refund on March 13th.

I am very sad to leave this negative for TheMacDadda. He is an upstanding member of AnandTech and has had flawless feedback until now. I traded with TheMacDadda before and all went well, so I was really disappointed when there was no reply to any emails, PMs or requests from GoogleCheckout.

I am not leaving this negative feedback out of anger or revenge. I would prefer to not have to leave it at all. I am leaving this negative feedback ONLY because I feel a sense of responsibility to the rest of the trading community to report this occurrence. I would be open to having this evaluation removed if I hear from TheMacDadda.

I hope he is ok.

Told seller I needed this for a gift and paid extra for priority. He shipped MEDIA mail and the game arrived 2 weeks later. Way past the date I needed it by. The game arrived in a plain envelope and the box was crushed. the seller said that the box was not in great shape when he shipped it so figured a plain envelope did not matter. He apologized for the mix up and said that since he could have gotten much more $$$ for it anyway, I could just return it. I elected to give the game to charity instead. Seller promised to return extra $$$ paid for priority shipping and has not. I don't care about the $$$ and dont even want it. But the sellers attitude was really lacking. He said that he was 75% at fault (?) and that after I have been trading for a while I would see that some deals eventually will turn crappy, like this one did. this was not a high dollar transaction, and it is not about the $$$ at all. I just feel that the seller screwed up and took no actions to rectify.

I am leaving this feedback because I wanted to express my recognition between fair, good and great traders. It is easy to be a good trader when everything goes smoothly, but the true mark of a great trader is how they perform when problems arise.

Communication was fantastic thru this entire transaction. All delays were explained and TbirdKid was very, very consciencious throughout. When the item arrived, it was not what I had hoped/expected it to be. I think that was just a hiccup in dealing thru the online medium. Refund was immediate and without hesitation.
