  • I bought an Antec Lanboy case from Zach.

killerkid was the Seller on January 27, 2006 AnandTech

He claimed to have shipped the case to me, then he \"got it sent back to him\", then sent it again. This happened 3 times before he figured out that he needed to fill out a customs form.

So, a month and a half after the original payment, I had no case.

After numerous PMs and emails, no reply.

In the end, he told me he was on vacation in California (what the heck) and couldn\'t refund me since he didn\'t have the money.

About 2 or 3 months after the original transaction, he had reimbursed me for the case.

    Poor trader.

    Response from killerkid
I shipped out the case, and received it back. I shipped it out the 2nd time, and then went on vacation to cali. When i came back i had multiple emails etc saying he didnt recieve the case, and it was indeed at my post office. I refunded him his money immediately after seeing that he did not recieve the case.

This trader will also ask you to lie on custom forms saying that the amount is much much lower then what it is, making insurance almost impossible.

  • Duron 1600MHz, claimed to run at 2.4GHz

killerkid was the Seller on December 22, 2004 AnandTech

I paid for the CPU October 29, including $6 for shipping and handling. A week later, when I received no word of the CPU being shipped, I started the longest e-mail chain in my inbox. Amidst a torrent of excuses and garbage, I began to wonder if I had wasted my money and he didn't have the chip at all. Then, I got word that it was shipped... 48 days after payment.

The chip was sent in a plastic carrier typical of CPU transfers, in a padded envelope with two stamps. It arrived fifty days after pay date, so I effectively paid $6 for 50th-day shipping, not even a box. The corner of the plastic carrier looked like the USPS had mashed it a bit, but I still had aspirations for the chip.

The chip was DOA. No noticeable physical damage, but three different motherboards refused to even power on when the chip was inserted. He refuses to give me a refund, and ever since I told him the chip was DOA he doesn't even respond to my e-mails. He won't even refund the shipping charge....

For more details, send me an e-mail. I can forward the entire conversation we had.

Refund my money, seller, and I'll ask a site admin to remove the eval, but you put me through too much garbage to even let this slide with a Neutral as it is.

    Response from killerkid
I have refunded the money in full to this person. If you would like a paypal transaction id number feel free to contact me, and i will provide one, this negative eval should not be on here because i have refunded the money.

  • Bought a sempron PC off him and he has a 2GB kit of G.skill HZ of mine.

killerkid was the Seller on June 5, 2007 Other/Unknown

I\'ve done a few trades with this kid in the past, was always a little slow and a pita (full of lies) but always came through eventually. I only put up with him because he gave me some really good deals in the past. Plus I never noticed he he was in the Traders to avoid sticky.
Now hes just straight up trying to scam me.

On March 12th I bought an older PC from him which claims he has shipped multiple times and gets sent back to him (he uses this lie a LOT). And he always \"forgets\" to get tracking/delivery confirmation.
I won the paypal claim against him for that ($175) but of course his paypal account is empty so they can\'t recover any money. (Paypal is so useless I should of funded that payment with my credit card)

He also has my brand new 2GB kit of Gskill F1-3200PHU2-2GBZX which he has had since March and again claims he has shipped multiple times.

So in the end he owes me $181 and a 2GB set of RAM thats worth $170.

  • Sold him a Gateway M505X Notebook

killerkid was the Buyer on April 6, 2006 AnandTech

Very stand-up individual. Made me aware ahead of time over telephone that he had some negative feedback, but I can see how some of these negatives could happen to anyone in a similar situtaion. Don\'t let a couple mistakes downplay this individual, I am very pleased with the transaction and will deal with him again!

Good guy. Really helped me out of a jam. We had some miscommunications at first, but he stayed on AIM, and resolved all the issues. Very good first transaction! A++.
