I Bought three older laptops

I bought three laptops from Matt. These were the specs he gave me and nothing more.

Megatronic P166, 48mb RAM, 5GB hd, 12\\\", CD/Floppy

HiNote, pentium 32mb ram, 3GB HD, 12\\\", CD/Floppy (CD-ROM doesn\\\'t work)

HP Omnibook P350, 75mb RAM, 12\\\", CD (No AC, Battery, or HD)


When I received the laptops this is what I found:

When I opened the Magitronic the LCD hinges must have been cracked or something as when I opened up the laptop the entire LCD practically came off. The hard drive was not a 5gb, but a 3gb.

When I got the HiNote the hard drive cover was missing. The HiNote\\\'s hard drive was not 3GB but was 1.4gb.

On the Omnibook the RAM cover was missing as was a few other port covers. And finally the processor speed was not 350mhz but was 133mhz.

I am fairly disappointed in my purchase. Matt seemed like a nice guy, but his items were falsely advertised. All three of the items specs were barely half of what were advertised. I informed Matt of this, but he offered no help. I have definently had better purchases. I would like to give a better rating, but I feel this is necessary.

There was a lot going on during this trade... I was told the 1 IBM laptop would absolutely work if put back together... I, being A+ certified and in the IT field for 10+ years now, put it back together to find the motherboard dead in it... My man here did fix the situation and gave me $30 back for it...

The PSP that was traded to me (mostly for the money in the deal), had previously been opened and was misrepresented as though it had not been tampered with... As soon as I got it, I could see fingerprints on the inner LCD screen, I then opened the PSP to find Electrical tape inside of it trying to hold down what used to be the backlight of the LCD screen... It also needed a Power Circuit board (which he had already told me about, and wasn\'t a big deal)... The electrical tape on the motherboard was a setback for me though (cause it now needs a new motherboard)...


All in all he was a descent guy about everything... Shipped FedEx and was here within a week...
