xecuter (38)
I purchased a modded PS2, two controllers, and a Guitar Hero controller.
ungsunghero was the Buyer on February 9, 2007 AnandTech
On 12/18/06, I sent xecuter $190 via PayPal for all of the items listed above. Four days later, I asked if he had shipped the items; he told me that he could not locate a box for the guitar. I offered to have him remove the guitar from the package, and just have him ship out the other items. Hours later, I got a PM, saying everything but the guitar was shipped out, and that he found a box for the guitar.
Six days later, xecuter PMed me, saying that he still had not yet shipped the guitar. On 12/30, I received the first package, though xecuter had written my address incorrectly on the label. I let xecuter know about this, and asked again about the guitar. He apologized about messing up the address on the first package, and swore to not make the same mistake with the guitar.
PMs sent on 1/6 and 1/10/07 were unanswered about the status of the guitar. Finally, on 1/14, xecuter said he had sent out the guitar via Fedex. Prior to that, I had contacted a Trollhunter--Tates--for assistance with this deal; xecuter offered to refund the purchase price of the guitar for the delays, which was eventually PayPal\'ed to me on the 19th.
On the 17th, xecuter PMed me to let me know that he had mixed up my package with another package, and had sent me a package that was supposed to go to Kansas. He was willing to reimburse me if I was willing to forward the package to the correct destination. He also told me that the guy in Kansas was going to forward the guitar to me. After a bit of wavering, and constant contact with Tates, I decided that I was simply going to refuse delivery of the incorrect package, and have xecuter ship the package himself. On 1/26, I finally received the guitar.
As for the items themselves, the console and controllers were packaged very well. The console has been giving me a bit of trouble (specifically with reading discs), but a reset usually makes the problem go away. The guitar also came in great shape, and works great.
Despite the delays in shipping and communication (I could understand a couple of days, due to the holidays, but 14 days between PMs is a bit excessive), I cannot warrant leaving xecuter a negative evaluation, due to the exceptional packaging job of the items and the partial refund of the guitar.
Response from xecuterI understand that the mess up over the guitar was completely my fault. I take responsibility, and reimbursed him as a sign of this, and to refund the trouble I caused him. It was even more discouraging that two packages were accidentally mixed up, and sent to different locations, however I still came through with the modded PS2, which was delivered on time.February 10, 2007

Nafets (75)
I bought a Motorola SURFBoard SB5101 cable modem from Nafets.
ungsunghero was the Buyer on April 3, 2007 AnandTech
Literally an hour after I PMed Nafets about the availability of his cable modem, he replied back, saying he\'d ship it out to me the next day if I wanted it. Although I didn\'t ask for it, he was even willing to ship first; never mind the fact that he has more heat than I do!
The package was shipped out on 3/30 from NH, and it arrived here in CA on 4/2. I had problems with the modem at first (it turned out TW was completely to blame), and Nafets was willing to wait for me to clear up any issues before I made a payment to him.
I would definitely be willing to do business with Nafets again in the future!April 4, 2007
