I attempted to buy a video card from Mike from this thread: http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=45&threadid=1860175 I PayPal\'ed him first, despite his low heatware. He sent me the wrong part, then refused to ship me the video card, saying he never intended to sell it to me.

He even tried to get me to ship the incorrect part to the person he intended it for, while refusing to ship me the part I had paid him for. He then opened up a pseudo-apology thread on AnandTech here:

This trade was a nightmare due to Mike\'s terrible trading ethics. The only reason I\'m not leaving him a negative is because he refunded my money, and after much pressure from other AT forum members, agreed to pay the cost of shipping the incorrect part back to him.

I would never recommend him as a trader, and anyone who is thinking of trading with Mike would be well advised to read the above threads and make an informed decision of how he handles the mistakes he makes.
